Mission

To honor the legacy and sacrifice of all members of the Cuyahoga Falls Fire Department, past and present, and to educate the public through community awareness.

Organizational Info

Formed in 2020 with five principal board members consisting of current and past members of the CFFD, the Cuyahoga Falls Firefighter Memorial Foundation was incorporated as a non-profit organization in the State of Ohio and is registered as a 501 (c)(3) with the IRS. The board has grown to include seven members, all five principal members are still active. The predominant goal of the organization was and currently is, the construction of a prominent and permanent memorial with our historic fire bell as its center piece.

Once the memorial is constructed the organization will continue to serve our purpose and beyond maintenance of the memorial there are dozens of items, we have proposed to focus our efforts on, among them is the offering of long-term assistance to the CFFD honor guard in the work that they are called to do as well as marking all gravesites of past CFFD members in coordination with their families for their service. For now, all monies donated, and all work will focus on the refurbishment of our bell and the construction of our memorial.
